New Years Resolutions

Like most others, I made New Years Resolutions at the beginning of the year. Now, the best way to complete a goal (or so I’ve heard) is to write it down. This allows you to see your goal and keep it in your mind.

Well, I did make my goals, but I didn’t write them down and I didn’t make a plan on how to execute them! How dare I!

So, I’m fixing my problem haha.

Goal number one is almost complete! It is to finish both of my unfinished series (The Elementals Series and The Fae Brothers’ Ever Afters Series). The Elementals is now complete. The Fae Brothers’ will be finished at the end of this month. However, I’ve decided (and begun) to write the prequel to the series. The series didn’t seem complete without it.

Another goal was to become more active in live and recorded videos. I’ve failed at this outside of my monthly Character Creation Wednesdays. If you haven’t joined me for one of those yet, you should! http://www.facebook.com/melaniegilbertauthor is where you should be the third Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm est

To work toward this goal, I will be starting up a talkshow, The Bookish Life. I’ll be appearing on my Facebook author page on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm est. My co-hosts are Heather Karn and Lynn Shaw. I’m so excited. More info on that to come soon!

My last goal is to keep everyone updated better via newsletter. I’m flunking on that too (hey, writing is more entertaining). But not to worry. My goals are now written down. I’ll get this done!

2020 is going to be a great year and I’m excited to see where it takes us!

Happy Reading!
